A disorienting psychological drama exploring the mind of Oliver, a haunted man trying to outrun visions of his past. After finding out who his father is, Oliver not only has to cope with the harsh reality of where he's come from, but also the challenging reality of where he could be heading. "Inertia" grapples heavily with the lifelong devastation of childhood abandonment, as Oliver comes to realize that he is capable of being the master of his own destiny, instead of carrying the generational curse into the future.

I'm Trevor Najera, a Texas filmmaker and project manager.

As a filmmaker and project manager in multimedia, I believe the heart of every project lies in its human element. Every story is shaped by the emotions, experiences, and connections of the people who bring it to life. Whether I'm producing a feature documentary, pulling focus on a commercial, or collaborating with artists and musicians, my goal is always the same: to tell honest stories that resonate long after the credits roll. That philosophy began long before I entered the film industry. As the founder of the San Antonio chapter of Sofar Sounds, I spent four years producing intimate live music experiences that celebrated community, creativity, and genuine human connection.

After Sofar Sounds, I shifted my focus toward commercial, documentary, and narrative filmmaking while earning my Master of Business Administration (MBA), combining creative storytelling with the leadership and strategic thinking required to bring ambitious productions to life. Since then, I've directed and produced the feature documentary Hit Hard: Thommy Price, preserving the story of one of rock's legendary drummers, and produced the independent feature film INERTIA, where I also composed the original score. Alongside my producing and directing work, I've spent the past six years building a career as a first assistant camera, a role I've grown deeply passionate about. I thrive on the collaboration, technical precision, and problem-solving that help cinematographers bring their vision to life. Whether leading a project as a producer or supporting one from the camera department, I believe the best productions are built on preparation, trust, and teamwork.

There's truly nothing better than capturing that special moment when everyone is together in one place, all set and ready for action.

Arts and culture are the heartbeat of our existence, weaving emotion and connection into every frame and melody. In filmmaking and music, I find the power to tell stories that transcend boundaries, celebrating the shared moment. Through creativity, we explore, inspire, and unite.

Much love,

TN
